That's actually kind of interesting. I've been using a flap sander on a die grinder and have thought about the Lancelot.

Depending on the control I could see that it might be useful for fine tuning tight areas, maybe even the recurve.

I'm about to start my second archtop and I'm looking at power carving options. If anyone has used one of these I'd be interested to hear. It looks a lot more controllable than some of the more brutal chain saw like tools I've seen.

I used one of these on an archtop body. It worked well, perhaps not as refined as the "Holey Gallahad", but only $10 and is only for hogging off material.
