Hi guys, I'm alive, just been busy as H. E. double hockey sticks. In the last 18 days we've had a graduation, honors night and baccalaureate for my oldest, school letting out for my youngest, college orientation for my oldest and a very unexpected funeral for my wife's uncle. I have all of the plans mailed out, if you paid for plans and don't have them by the middle of next week let me know. I owe a couple of guys some wood those will be going out Monday and I'll be adding a few extra goodies for the delay.

Sorry for being absent, things got out of hand real quick and should start to settle down for me next week.
Lance

Gotta run, graduation party to go too. :-)

I think you got your priorities straight Lance. Being an involved dad at the top of the list. [:Y:]

Good to hear you are doing fine other than being swamped. And, thanks for the SJ plans arrived which arrived yesterday.

Life sure does get in the way sometimes. Three weeks ago today I slipped and fell outside Fry's Electronics, broke my hip, got a "femur nail" implant, and in a flash lost 21 days to hospital and nursing home imprisonment.

SO glad to be back at work. . .

Lance, glad to hear you are getting back to a happier place. Congratulations on your daughters graduation. The proud father shows in your writing.

Frank, sorry to hear about your injury. You got back at it pretty quickly for an old guy! I suspect there will be a clever short cut video on self surgery at Frets.com soon.

It's never a bad thing when your kids are at the head of the line, and everything else is put to the back burner on simmer.

Everyone here seems to have their priorities set just like mine. It's great to see everyone put family first; and, it makes me feel better about not completing a project in such a LONG time.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.

Geesh Frank, best to you on the recovery.

The only thing that "got in my way" this weekend was the beautiful weather which meant sailing on Saturday and hiking on Sunday. Back to the shop tonight :D

life is like juggling. most of us have 5 or 6 or even more balls in the air. most are made of rubber but the family ball is glass. don't drop the glass ball

I would imagine from this still being a "sticky" post that life is still getting in the way....

Ouch, life can get busy, even in a good way. But definitely more important to spend time with one's family than sharing one's expertise on this forum. Taking time off from helping people out here must be hard, though!
