I have had some surprise business expenses pop up. I am going to have to back out. Hopefully next time.

I would be interested in some of their new NB strings, either individual package or the full consumer package. Any chance of that at some point down the road?

Mike and I are going to split a gross of EXP12's which ironically are NOT 12's but 13's!

If anyone would want to make a trade for some 12's quarter gross for quarter gross let me know. That way we can all have 12's and 13's in the shop just in case.

Just curious- how do the coated D'Addario strings compare to Elixirs with the nano coating? As a player I'm pretty partial to Elixirs but they are pretty pricey, especially in small quantities.

I think that is a tough call. I like the Nano's, much better than the pollyweb, I won't even use those. But I think the EXP's are the bee's knees. They are both good strings and equally comparable imho so that leaves you with only one variable in the equation, price. ;)

Right on, thanks. Maybe I'll split an order next time around. I need to go pick up a set and try them out.

Ok, heading to store to buy strings. Kind of hoped we'd have heard something. But my clients can't wait. :(

All you anxious folks waiting on strings: I communicated with Lance and he has been slammed with family issues (all good unless you count the tuition expenses!) and feels terrible about the delay in getting the correct strings from D'Addario and sorting them for shipment. He asked for a bit more patience and plans to ship them by mid-October. Please consider that this is a considerable effort on Lance's part and he is very generous in providing this service.

I'm good with mid-October.
