Any interpretation of what this is really saying? I don't feel like reading the whole thing.

I suspect that David rightly understood the history of ivory threads... on the forum and decided to be like Col. Kurtz in Apocalypse Now and simply stroll on by and toss a severed head in our laps...:)

I watched a snail........ on the edge of a razor blade.....:)

I got as far as the designation of an antique and then had to deal with a customer with a dried out guitar.

I too didn't have the energy to read the entire piece but I did notice this: There is a ban on the import and export of Ivory except for ivory used for musical instruments!
Antique ivory is also excluded since it has no impact on the endangered species.

The one that got me was "except of animal heads imported as trophies (limited to 2 per hunter per year!!! That floored me. Do they want to protect elephants or the good old boys???
