I am needing to collect some measurements. I am needing to know the hole spacing on different laminate trimmers and mini-routers bases(no full sized routers needed). What do you think OLF, can you help me out?

Please denote the brand and model as well as the measurement(s) for your spacing. Thanks.

Hi Chris, what specs are you wanting?
I have 4 or 5 different ones I could measure.

I am needing the hole spacing of the screws that hold the plastic plate to the base of the trimmer/router.

Perhaps you could list what you already have so there's no duplication.

I have a Porter Cable 3102 and 7301, and a Makita 3709.

Pat

Bosch Colt pr10 3" x 2.72"
Dewalt dwp 611 2.42" square, but there are 4 more holes asymetrically placed. all holes are at 1.73" radius c-c from the center of the collet.
I can measure the PC when I get home.

I make it 54 mm x 45 mm, long side towards the catch.

The name catgut is confusing. There are two explanations for the mix up.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.

As you can see, multiple holes
The plastic base mounts to the 3 lower holes in the pic.
2-11/32" across l-r
-21/32 from l or right to the lower
On the boss with the 2 holes the upper one is the bottom end of the depth adjuster.
The other on that boss and the one to the right are 1" apart.
The upper 2 are 2-1/16" apart.

My Makita RTO700C has a trapezoid base pattern , one side 54 mm and the side parallel to this 56 mm, each of these spaced by 45 mm.
From collet centre to holes 56 mm apart the radius is 38.25 mm.
From collet centre to the 45 mm spaced holes the radius is 33 mm

Rebel tools REB500T has square base hole pattern 58 mm
