I'm pretty sure wet sanding human flesh can't be topped.
Next time Hesh, shoot a video as a companion to "fret grime"
Any particular paper you like for skin sanding? Something that doesn't load up too badly? [xx(] Double yuk.

After all, you shouldn't be calling yourself a luthier if you don't have skin in the game!

That can be topped.....:)

The very worst, so far was the 70's G*bson MKII that a local Master Jeweler received as a high school graduation present and then took to college, got too stoned and drunk, and puked in the sound hole and left it there for 35 years..... :( I suspect that dried puke is pretty dampening too.... Vintage college dorm mac and cheese..... :o :D

Another one that's right up there was the guitar that the owner shimmed the saddle himself to stop it from buzzing.

What I found under the saddle was a very large, very green and brown with fuzzy growth on it.... toe nail...... I almost quit the biz that day....

Related was the D-28 in the old green pl*stic case that the owner was running down a stairway with the guitar trying to escape an angry girlfriend or spouse who fired a 12 gauge with OO buck at him. Some of the pellets hit the guitar, went though the case and embedded int he fretboard.... I could care less about the owner but what a shame for the guitar...:)

Guitars are people too....:)

[uncle] [uncle] [uncle]

I knew you guys were known for superlative set ups. Had no idea you led the industry in gross out stories too.
