I wasn't aware the first drawing had gone on till I wrote Lance yesterday with exciting news that the first referring order for product, where the Customer actually checked the box stating he was referred to out store from OLF. What this means to us, is more than one realizes. We have to know if our advertising dollars are earning their keep. So what a great week. I was hoping I could let GRS know story of the set. A specific log and what have you... It is from our classical size sort of BearClaw of lower grade only for the color band. End grain stain limits the size for a natural clear clean finished instrument. But it sure could be used for a larger with a sunburst finish. It was cut from a log I named Viking BearClaw that We aquiered 13 yrs ago. We still have about 18' of that log.
Looking forward to see what Lance pulls out of the hat next month. There is 5 more to go.i think?...

I wanted to load a pic for you of a real neat western red cedar set from a Very Old snag or blowdown. The colors can only come from decades of ageing and rainforest weather. But the file is too large and I can't resize it on this iPad. So I will invite you folks to go see it at our facebbok page Alaska Specialty Woods Inc or on our Instagram #AlaskaSpecialtyWoods
