FWIW. The more I use Redwood the more I want to use Redwood. Maybe not the best thing for a flatpikin' dred, but otherwise a very versatile wood.


Right? The set on the right is some Mahogany from Brock Poling. I really do think our sets are from the same board. They look way too similar. And I plan on using redwood for the top. [:Y:] Hopefully it turns out half as nice as yours.
