FYI, I'm not giving up on building. I'm giving up on making a living out of it (or even a side line business). The next guitars I'll build will be for me, and I'll work on it when I feel like it. I'm certainly going to put all this aside for a while, but I'm certainly not giving up on it.

Not to pick the scab, but if you would care to reveal some of the issues that you encountered that might be beneficial for the forum. I've only seen your work on here, but I always had the impression you were doing nice work. It seems like every couple months there is a thread about the business aspects of building...I'm sure any experiences you can share would be well received.

Good luck in the software world, that is certainly a creative and dynamic field!
