I want to use a spalted wood on an arm bevel (to echo a small bit of spalting in the rosette and sapwood back.
Anyone have a sheet or two of an appropriate arm bevel size that they would be willing to sell. I couldn't find any in the usual places I look for veneer (Rockler, woodcraft, RC).
Thanks, Beth

You might try ebay and just buy a chunk of wood and slice off what you need. For example, above.

This looks to be a possibility. Wanted something I didn't have to cut, and I think this might do the trick.
Thanks Guys!

Give me your desired dimension and I'll send you a few pieces of well spalted birch. No cost.

That would be wonderful! I would think maybe 3" x 10-12 " would be perfect. Please let me know your PayPal so I can pay shipping at least!!!

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the help and comments. I PM'd Brian and wanted to let you all know that my customer changed her mind about the spalted bevel. We're doing EIR to match the FB and Bridge instead. Wait till you see the set of SE Asian Rosewood I am using. Bought it from LMI 3 years ago and now it's unavailable, but it rings FOREVER when tapped! Never heard anything like it (in my very limited experience of tapping wood).
