Yeesh, I guess I cannot operate the search function. Sometime ago, I took someones advice on a Koa supplier and it turned out great, but I cannot remember their name. Looking for Koa wood.

Thanks

Don't worry, Mike. Once your memory gets bad enough, you tend to forget that you forgot, and the world is a happier place. Oh ya, don't ask [headinwall] how I know, but guess I just had a lucid moment.

I bought a couple of front, back, and side sets on eBay that look kind of pedestrian, but they only cost me about $145 shipped.

Alex

Alas, as is with so many things guitar related these days, Volcano does not do sales on the Internet anymore (guessing that means bad business). I will try some of the others on that page.

I've purchased Koa from Bob at Pegasus Guitars several times and never been disappointed.

laughing6-hehe Three character searches don't work,so I searched your posts using "Hawaii" (didn't work), then "sets" and (BINGO), eighth one down. 8-) Haven't been stumped yet.

Plus 1 on PegasusGuitars. Bob Gleason is great to deal with. Are you looking for Uke or guitar size? Bob offers both.

+1 for Bob Gleason
You won't find a nicer person to deal with. He also sells other luthier supplies.

Last time I contacted Bruce, he told me he quit selling Koa binding. That was a few years ago, maybe he's back in it.
