Hey Folks,

Where do you fellow Canucks get your cases from?

I build a wide range of guitars from Parlour to jumbo. Long and mcquade sells dread cases and little else.

Looking at elderly music's site, the 'Canadian Series' has all I need at the right price. Of course the price would be double after shipping and taxes. Is there a Canadian place to get these Canadian cases that are made in Canada? There's irony or something in there. Bear in mind, I'm after cheap...

I'm with the others - Heinl is awesome. Great deal for builders. Wide variety of sizes. Great people to work with.

I like and use Ameritage, the luthier pricing is surprisingly good! Yes, shipping is a pain, but I think its well worth the price for that level of protection.

Yep .. I have been friends with the folks at Heinls for years now .. the guitar side of their business was a separate business run by one of their now repair guys Gary ... he merged his business to theirs ... great stuff. TKLs, Gotohs, bone blanks, electric parts, sometimes ebony FBs, good selection of tools like fret files, nut files, chisels, fret saws, all from Hosco Japan, good quality ...

Heinl!!!! Great cases at a very good price!!!

Buy them in doubles, shipping is pretty much the same as buying a single.

I know this thread is related to "cheap" cases in Canada, and I too buy come cases from Heinl's. But I'll throw out the Hiscox cases I sell as another option for Canadian customer. The are more than the Heinl's cases, but far less than a custom case. The protection offered by a Hiscox is far superior to a plywood case and even better than some of the custom cases on the market. And as with all my products, flat rate shipping for the whole country.
