It's off and on and only happening with this forum web page - anyone else?

I did a couple days ago, but then it went back to normal. My guess is something weird happening with the facebook buttons at the top of the page, because everything above them worked, and everything below didn't.

Starting yesterday, when I click on a thread link, then exit the thread, all of the thread links on the page fail to work -
I have to exit then re-enter the main page to get the links working again.

Sometimes randomly I click a link and the page loads as a load of web code. I can press refresh and it usually works fine, but it's kind of annoying...

Same here. And this has been happening for 4 or 5 months. I assume(d) it was my laptop, and not the site or I would have said something earlier.

I had the problem a couple of days ago. It was only on the thread titles but not on anything else.

I am running Linux and thought it may have been a Java issue so I updated Java, Mozilla and checked all my plugins for any updates and after I updated everything it seems to be working fine now.

Yes, I can do one link OK then I have to wait a minute or so to open up each link after that.

Oh, and I also get this error message pretty frequently when loading pages (forum index pages, posts, or even the attachment uploading popup window). Seems to occur randomly, and I just hit refresh and it loads fine.

That's the one! For several months now. But I had to return my laptop to the manufacurer several months ago, and thought it was a glitch in my machine.

Not sure it is browser dependent, but I have had no issues in Firefox.

This conclusion may be colored somewhat by the fact that Ghostery is blocking Facebook Connect.

Two potential solutions.

I use Firefox exclusively. Very familiar with the above error. Yes, it takes a second or two to back out of it, refresh the page, etc. I'm not particularly bothered by it, now that I know it's not a problem with the workings of my computer. It's up to Lance to figure out if this means more potential trouble for him in the future, ie; whether or not this glitch will cause more kinds of problems. I'm sorry I didn't say anything before, but I really thought it was just me.

Still occurring though I think it may not be on Lance's radar. I can reload the page with F5 (learned that here) and it's not that big a deal. Happens in both FireFox and Chrome here.

It's looking like this problem may be fixed--everything is working right for me tonight for the first time in a long time. Yay (I hope!)

It has been happening to me for a few weeks. I load a thread, go back and all links are deactivated. I have to hit the browser refresh button to get them active again.

I've been having to hit the "go" button at the bottom of the page for a few months now to access the other discussions, rather than hitting the "back" button as I used to do. Not quite as handy as things used to be.

Chrome browser here. It's been doing this for ages, and it's still broken now.
A simple refresh makes the links work again, but it's annoying.
Happens on my iPhone also, so I don't think it's a browser problem.

Small thing but I cringe when checking the forum now as I always have to hit F5 if I want links to work. I agree it's annoying and it's been like this for a VERY long time. Did you ever look into it Lance?

In the last week, two of my posts on other people's threads did not come up on the site. Some other ones I posted did.
