My playing sucks and the camera isn't the greatest for recording but it's an idea of the sound.

The name catgut is confusing. There are two explanations for the mix up.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.

The body is nitro and Dave Anderson finished it. I just did a somewhat FP on the neck. The neck is more of a C profile then a U. If I want to change it later I can easily finish it and then shoot nitro on it if I choose but I like the feel of FP.

Yeah it's a keeper, at least for now. :)

Congrat's on a fabulous instrument, Chris. Was your carving of the headstock inspired by Jeronimo Pena Fernandez? He was a classical/flamenco guitar maker from Jaen in southern Spain. Great work!
