Does anyone know where I can get a back and side set of Wenge? Allied usually has some but they are sold out and the other people I called don't have any fully quartered sets. I am looking for a darker and fully quartersawn set with a little bit of color variation. Thanks in advance!

my advice is that don't look for fully quatersaw Wenge....10-20% of quartersaw is much much better...

If you're setup to re-saw your own back and side sets from a larger billet, check out http://www.woodworkerssource.com/wood_specials.html They currently have 6/4 Wenge at 25% off!!

A&M Woods in Cambridge, Ontario has supplied me with 8/4 quartered wenge for back and sides. Also Shedua. Nice folks to deal with. always very helpful. So just zip across the border and yer there.
