So how thick do you usually make the binding on your headstock? I'll have some tight curves to bend it to.

I normally bind my fingerboards with 0.080" so I prefer to match headstock binding to that. However if you have tight curves on your headstock you will likely have to go thinner. In fact on one of my current builds I'm using a different design so if thinned the headstock binding to 0.065". I suspect you'll need to experiment to see how thin your binding needs to be so that it will bend to meet your curves.
