Beautiful guitar, Alain. How did you find Shedua to work with, like Rosewood ?

+1 Beautiful guitar. Have you built classical guitars with shedua before? What do you think it does for the tone?

Thanks!

Shedua is pretty easy to deal with. It's very similar in density and stiffness as Indan Rosewood, as is the sound. It is a little greenish colored, which makes the guitars look a bit like 1970s furniture, but some people like this look! :)

A little late to the party but good going Alain! 75 is huge. That's a beautiful guitar. A Mario top? I have't seen Shane with any bearclaw. Looks great.

All The Best,
Danny

Hi Danny!

Yes, it's a Mario top. I'm not sure Shane doesn't have any, but when I ordered it, Shane wasn't available so I checked what Mario had.

You're most welcome. Although I will have to report your egregious use of English! Far as I can tell, all of your posts have been in English.

When I write on the OLF, I go on a boat about 100 feet from the shore, where language laws don't apply...

Ha! Good one. That's where I plan to move my shop. The realtor said lutherie laws don't apply either.
Nice guitar, and congratulations on the accomplishment!

Steve
