I have a Martin guitar that has been droped and the back has come loose from the side. It is made from High Pressure Laminate not wood. Does anyone know what is the right glue to use?

It was a special Adhesive. I have used med Superglue with success.

How 'bout bonding Richlite to HPL? I asked you this at Woodstock, but if I recall correctly, you thought there was another adhesive recommended by Martin for this purpose but you weren't quite sure of the name at the time? (BTW: It was a pleasure meeting you)

If the HPL guitar has a wood lining to provide some gluing surface then you can use titebond to glue things back together. Lightly scuff the HPL gluing surface as you would wood to provide a fresh surface for gluing. You can also use CA or epoxy, but yellow glue will work.
I have glued richlite to richlite using a two part epoxy. If you are gluing to formica you might want to scuff the surface to provide some "tooth" for the epoxy to grab onto. The finished side of HPL can be pretty slippery, so it might be hard to get a good bond to it.

the glue Martin uses is a 3m product Call me and I can tell you the part number.
