Love it! Congratulations my man, I'm right behind you. Mine is due to be done in 3 weeks and two days (or sooner). It is the greatest thing in the world! Now I wish I had a box ready to steal that photo idea.

Congratulations!! I don't have a newborn but I do have an 11 year old who is lobbying me to build him a guitar once I have my first build complete. I think this is a request I'll be happy to oblige.

Thanks guys. My wife and I are super proud. He has some very active low end. Currently the mids aren't real present and the highs are a bit shrill, but I have high hopes for the tone once it settles in a bit. laughing6-hehe

Congratulations, Chris! Great photo, too.

I'm in the same boat as Bryan. My third child is expected in around 4 weeks.

As far as building time goes, I have to keep building just to keep my first two happy! My older son already has a nylon-string guitar, and now wants a lap steel, because he can't reach the pedals on my pedal steel. My second son is quick to point out any musical instrument he sees, and I have a hard time keeping him away from my guitars and mandolins, and especially the pedal steel. That's just too tempting for words.

Oh, and they are only 4 and 2 years old. I can hardly wait until they're a little bigger!
