Brad Way and I have been talking about trying to get a get together going.
We were thinking of seeing if we could do the meet at the local woodcrafts store.
If people seem down for it, I'll go over and talk with the owner. he's real friendly guy
so I think he would be game for it.

That's a 7 and a half hour drive for me. With kids and wife, closer to 12. If I can figure out how to ditch these free loaders, I might be able to make it!

That would be awesome! I would let you crash at my place if you want. I know that drive, it's long. I'll be driving back and forth to NJ here in a couple weeks

Awesome bliss I'll try and talk to the guy this weekend. I was going to see if he could put on a demo of some kind. Maybe a bandsaw set up are chisel sharpening. Would anyone want to put on some kind of demo? I'm only two deep, so the only demo I can do is how to glue your fingers together and how to screw up wood lol

It would be roughly a 9 hour drive for me. For some strange reason, I was considering going for it. If I didn't have a baby comming in the next few weeks it would just be crazy enough to be a go.

Andy can bring his CNC! [:Y:]

On a side note, I wonder if there are any specific topics or points of interest others would interested in when they come?

My vote would be before May, that's when my outside activities start up again.

I would like to do it in the next month if that would work for everyone. I wasn't able to talk to the owner of woodcraft today. He was busy all day today and tomorrow teaching a class. Maybe sometime this week.

As far as dates go, I vote against Feb 23&24 - I'll actually be in Cleveland but won't have any time to stop by.

Joe...if you are able to make it to the Cleveland gathering would you be willing to give a overview of finishing? We haven't established an agenda for the meeting yet but it would be great to give something for people to think about and you certain know finishing as well as anyone.

Let me know your thoughts.

Brad
