This is a Hon. mahog. neck that's been stained and finished with Tru-oil. Has anyone ever seen a deformation in mahog that looks like this? It appears to be a glue stain, but apparently won't come out. Epoxy was used to glue the FB on, so doubtful that it would run like that. CA was used for the side dots and possibly to glue down a loose fret. It looks either dark or light depending on the angle used to view it. My guess is that it's a CA stain, and I'll recommend using acetone to try and get it out. Any thoughts or suggestions will be appriciated. Thanks.

Now I'm actually thinking it's just an irregularity in the wood. Comments and thoughts are still welcome though.
