I suspect that PRS is more like a P.O.S.

Definitely something fishy about that site.

I read the description as well, and I never put my trust in a seller who cannot give an understandable description of their product, with correct spelling and grammar. Ye git wot n ye pay fer.

Did Paul Smith forget to register his trademark in China?
I guess these knockoffs are legal for the Chinese to sell, but not legal to import into the U.S.A.?
When so many of the parts and "American" brands are made in the Orient how sensible is it to disdain all Chinese production. I will say that the knockoffs I have seen are inferior to the originals in fit and finish. The original Fender guitars were not known for their sophisticated construction and finishes - they used some automotive finishes. If the Chinese can make a guitar that plays well for cheap, they might be the next generation's Fender.

AliExpress is actually credible, you will get your order...but their entire deal is enabling you to buy direct and securely from Chinese factories, and they definitely don't care about trademarks or anything else of the sort.

OTOH, it's a great place to get motor drives and other commodity electronics and tools. Always make purchases with a good Visa, and worst case you get a dud and Visa will refund your money.

It's not illegal to buy these things direct from China and import them into the US.
It IS illegal to then resell them as American made PRS's and Gibsons. It's still legal to sell them as used Chinese knockoffs.

I've seen a lot of these and they are indeed poor quality, but getting better every year.

I've never bought one and never will.
