Greetings from Brazil,

I am luthier from USA looking for info/suppliers of UV Cured finishing. I have been surfing web/YOUtube over last year and have
contacted www.cureuv.com, but I know Taylor guitars uses various suppliers and different product. That and fact I can“t buy products here in Brazil nor import from USA due to high cost of shipping and import tax. Cheaper to come stateside and buy and bring home. I want to know if any of you luthiers have much needed info to share.??? I can build UV curing lamp spray booth/clean room but I need finsih materials and some kind of tech specs. I still shoot nitro and PE/PU but would like to switch to UV curing for saving time and lighter/harder finish. thanks,
AxeTech Instruments,Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais,Brazil

I am using the cureuv.com products. I am making them work because I am not set up to spray and don't have the greatest ventilation so the zero VOCs is important to me. If you are set up to spray, and have good ventilation, I believe there are better products out there. The cureuv.com stuff does not hang well and I've just about given up on their pore filler as sometimes it doesn't cure properly and you get "bleeding" from the pores.

You may be able to purchase them in the States but don't plan on taking them on the plane with you. I don't think security measures would allow you check that as baggage.
