Has anyone ever used Strawberry Cedar for top wood?, if so do you have any pics?

I bet you're wondering about western red cedar sold by M.DaCosta, who "names" the trees he gets wood from. His wife sells his lower grades on eBay. The names let people who want wood from a certain tree get it.

Tony_in_NYC recently posted pictures of "Strawberry (cream?) Cedar" here:

Sounds like a marketing term for Western Red Cedar. Do a search on 'cedar top guitar' using Google Images and you'll get a ton of pics.

you shouLd see the size of the strawberries they get off those things. Amazing.
I'd just use a nice piece of western red cedar, myself and forget the fruity names.
