I have West Epoxy 105 with hardeners 206 and 207. I forget which one makes it glue and which one makes it suitable for pore fill. Am I right to assume that the 'special clear hardener' is the one to use?

Both can be used for pore filling. The 206 will give you a longer working time. The 207 or "Special Clear Hardener" as they call it will start to set up more quickly.

Either. Use the 207 if you want an absolutely clear fill, or use the 206 if you don't mind the very slight amber tint. If you're top coating this with a waterborne, then the amber will offset any bluish/coldness in the finish.

I will be using KTM-SV, which is pretty clear to my eye, being urethane not acrylic.

For a pore fill, use only the 207 clear coat hardener. It's called clear coat because it stays clear. 206 can bloom, sometimes a substantial time down the track, like two years. DAMHIKT. I've never had a problem with the 207.

As far as I know, they can both (206 & 207) be used as glue, as well as the 205 hardener. I only use the 206, because it's hot here.

...the implication being that the other hardeners might (and I know they do!). Why take the chance?

River Marine Supplies on Clark Drive in East Van. Over 100$ for the 105, a 206, and a 207. Not cheap, but clearer than z-poxy. Comes in metal tins that like to seal themselves shut real good. I miss being able to get system three in the shampoo style squeeze bottles...

You can also order the West System epoxy directly from West System. I like getting it from them and insuring fresh product. They are great folks to deal with.
