I'm not a full time builder but over the years I've sold a fair number of guitars, and some of them to some serious players. But my second acoustic still brings me the most joy because of who plays it, my 19 yr old daughter. Here's her latest, live from her dorm room in Lamoni, IA. YouTube is a wonderful thing for bridging the miles.

Doesn't get better than that. Some things all the commisson and sales money can't buy or compete with.

Thanks guys. She's been singing since she could talk but only took up the guitar a couple years ago (she plays piano too but they seem like a lot of work to build).
I did have to scold her over her poor shot framing and told her she better start showing the guitar or she's gonna lose her endorsement deal. ;)

Yeah, that's really cool Mike. Awesome, in fact.

Very nice. I agree with you about the endorsement. She needs to showcase the guitar just a bit. She has a nice voice too!

She has a killer voice and a nice guitar style (which sounds great by the way). She's got the gift. Congrats pa!

Wow. She's great! I like her interpretation of the song, too. Kind of reminds of me of Straight No Chaser. The guitar sounds great, too!

Ask her if it's cool or creepy if a 52 year old man knows all of Coldplay's songs.

My youngest son said it was cool....but he still won't "friend" me on Facebook.

Tell her she did a very nice job on that cover!

That was wonderful, I hope my 5 year old learns to sing and play, and build, so well, a top parenting goal for me, and your family will serve as an inspiration, I will watch that with my daughter for song time before bed tonight.

Wow, Mike, that's really a most wonderful thing to share. Thank you so much. Beautiful music, beautiful young lady, beautiful all the way around.

Thanks guys. I'm impressed some of you know the song. I'm a Blues guy and never know if the tunes are hers or covers.
I made her an electric too in hopes she will become the next Susan Tedesci but so far the Blues bug hasn't bit her except for a couple tunes she sings with my band.
