Wow .. very nice for your first guitar, well done. You do have good teachers !!!

I do have a question though .. I thought the whole point of an 18 hole bridge was so that you woudlnt have the strings go over the top of the tie block ??? The way you have it strung you only needed 12 .... just curious, of course more than one way to string it !!!

@John: The shape is the template the teachers gave us... for the first guitar, it was pretty basic. I think it's our master's shape. The braces are pretty close to the Hauser scheme: 7 fans, 2 ''V'' braces in the bottom, a bridge patch...

@Tony: You are right... my 18 holes is just an ''upgraded 12 holes''. It is tied like a 12, but the string end is hide in the 3rd hole, who's partial.

Yhea! But I have to say... I just had a problem with it... I did me set up with D'addario, then Augustine strings... everything was OK, but when I put Savarez hard tension on it, the high E slept and scratch the top very deeply... so.. I have to do a double loop and use it like a 12 holes for the B and E....

Savarez slip...

Francis
