Well this little old gal has been used and abused for much too long. Her wrinkles were deep and she had scars all over. But it wasn't just her outsides that needed attention. It's the inside that counts, right?

From the inside out, I did a little a little touchups, removing any aging where I could. Some of her joints needed some scoping. After a little time in post-op recovery, it was time to look at her outsides.

Her cheeks needed some attention. Someone had let way too much rouge build up. That had to be taken off. From there, I touched up some of her fine lines- making them crisp again.

But a makeover wouldn't be complete without a look into the sole. She needed flattening and polishing.

All in all, when it was all done, this old gal has new life again. And look at that brass.

By the way, I got this plane for a grand total of about $30 on ebay (include shipping, handling and all that other fun stuff)

I started with 120 grit. The sole of the plane was in pretty bad shape.
