yes he does a pressed back , he does make a heck of an arch top and a class guy to boot.

+1 on the class guy. I took an engraving class with Grit Laskin several years back up in Indiana. Frank was a fellow student as was Chuck Lee, the banjo maker. We had a great time and learned a lot, both from Grit and from each other. I really enjoyed my time with these guys and learned a lot from all of them.
