Thank you, all,
In terms of the 1 11/16" inch nut width, this was specified by my client (who incidentally had no idea that the next guitar in line would be #100) who had been playing an electric nylon with that width. Considering he's a jazz player and due to hand issues he feels that it's just right for him. The other instrument also had a 24 3/4" scale which is short for an acoustic nylon string and I made some changes in the construction to compensate for the lower tension. These included a slight shift forward of my standard fan bracing pattern as well as slightly lighter (by about 1/2mm) dimensions on the fans themselves.
Along with the longer 14 fret neck nylon that I sometimes make I also used a two way truss rod (with a through the soundhole access) on this one to enable precise adjustment of the neck relief.

After 100 instruments I'm not sure how I might have proceeded differently considering the amount of time it took (45 years) and that so many of them were made at the request of others and that all of it (as everything does) took place within the context and constraints of daily life.
I will say though that I tried to work incrementally and avoid big swings in construction method or style which I think allowed a systematic evaluation of what changes produced what results and allowed me to build my knowlege base (albeit slowly) in a linear fashion.
I'll be starting #101 soon, see you in another 45...................

Best!
