How many of you have tried an Om size with just 1 finger brace?I did his on the last one and it turned out pretty good.It was a nice stiff top so I figured I`d give it a shot.Pros and Cons?
James

I used 2 fingers for a while, but have only used one on everything (including dreads) for the last couple years. They're longer, and angled different than "normal" 2 per side fingers.

Con. I've built one guitar (parlour) with one finger brace and I put a crack in the top right where I now always put a second brace. I don't like to see that much unbraced real estate. I can be a little rough on them at times though.

I use just one on my small jumbos which are just a little bigger than an OM.
