I just got my first guitar build back from a friend who sprayed it for me What do I do now to polish it?

How many coats of what did he spray it with?

With spray finishes, you typically spray some initial coats, then sand it flat to get rid of any orange peel, spray it again, let it fully harden which could take a few weeks, then polish. If you don't have access to polishing/buffong equipment, you can use micro mesh followed by an automotive type polishing product.
