I just tried out a Woodslicer bandsaw blade over the weekend and I am REALLY impressed with it. I was resawing walnut and it cut like butter. I highly recommend this blade.

I liked the woodslicers as well but they didn't stay sharp very long when resawing.

I/ve had several woodslicers fror reaswing. Would concur with steve , they don/t stay sharp for long. I get 10 plus starrett blades from BC saw in toronto ontario, for my minimax s-45 and they are 1/3 price of the woodslicer , or check out woodworkers supply or lenox woodmaster ct or laguna reaw king blades.

The minute they dull and ruin a piece during resaw (which they do quickly!) you will curse the day! Not to mention, chances are the wood they ruined will be more than the blade if you're doing anything decent :P

He's right. My experience is when they go, they go suddenly and take a good portion of a billet with them.
