 One thing I wanted to pass along to the people going to the symposium is that I asked Dave and Nadine if I could donate something to the auction. I have some really nice 50 year old Mahogany that I got a couple years ago and resawed. Sold some and kept some for my stash. I thought it would be a win- win to donate a set to A.S.I.A. auction. This way I don't have to write a check to donate and someone at the auction gets something special. I'm even happy when I do my taxes and write off as a donation. So not to blow my own horn I just though maybe you hadn't thought of it. See you all in a couple days.

That's great Bill!
Please allow me to piggyback on your thread here to let folks know that I'm bringing a Martin style 000 Sapele kit to donate, has a very nice Italian Alpine un-rosetted top, inlaid diamond and squares ebony board plus all the neccessay bracing, binding, linings, bridge, etc.
I coming on late friday so be sure to take a look at the preview Sat. afternoon if you're interested. Steve Kovacik told me he'll also be bringing a odd lot of Martin parts to donate.
I heard from Dave and Nadine that there are a bunch of new folks registered this year and I hope my entry level kit will be of interest to someone just starting out............and something that they can get for a bargain price!
Best

 John, Steve and Dave that really nice of you to do that. Glad you posted so people will know to look for it at the auction. Tough to John to sell benders before the auction though if people know one is up for grabs. So the auction (circus) will be longer this year if there is alot to sell.
