Hi!

Do you guys know a good supplier for Spruce logs or quarters (Sitka, Adi or Lutz)?
I'm looking, at first, for good bracing stock, but would like some good stuff to split tops.
I'm especially looking for Adirondack...
And a place in Canada would be great!

Thanks a lot!

PS: And BTW, any of you split their tops? Does it worth it? Comments and suggestions welcome!

Francis

For Sitka I would suggest Brent Cole at Alaska Specialty Woods: http://www.alaskawoods.com/

For Lutz, I would think Shane could help you out.

For Adi, John Arnold may be able to set you up. He posts here and is very knowledgeable, not to mention a very nice guy as well. For Adi you could also try Dave Smith at Smith Creek Mandolins, or John Griffin at Old Standard.
