I have a Mando that I want to rework a little bit . It has been lacq. and I want to do more pore fill and sand and relaq. WILL the zpoxy adhere to the existing laq. ? Or am i asking for trouble here ? If it wont what would be bast way to proceed ?

I've never tried it, but then again, I wouldn't even attempt to try this. Zpoxy is used to fill the pores in bare wood, and will fill the pores in open wood very well. But I don't think it would work on top of lacquer.

I've done this before with great results:
In EIR: Applied zpoxy to bare wood and filled pores over 3 sessions. Applied about 10 coats of light shellac. Found that there were still some pores showing, so used medium viscosity super glue to fill the remaining pores and sand back flat. Then start applying shellac again. I couldn't find the spots where I added super glue, and it still looks good after 2 years. Just an idea, but you might want to experiment first. Good luck!

You're asking for trouble Jim. At this point, drop fill with lacquer. If the remaining pores are too numerous for drop filling, your best course of action would be to strip and refinish.
