Was wondering if anyone out there has any experience with a Shop Fox oscillating drill press? I'm looking at the 12 speed , 3/4 horse model W1668 . This looks like a more robust model than the other two 1/2 horse models offered. My experience with multi purpose machinery has been that it never seems to do any of it's jobs as well as a dedicated piece of equipment. Of course a lathe and a mill are two completely different animals, this looks like a much more sensible combination. Any one out there bought one? What do you think about it?

I bought one over a year ago and it works well for me. Well built and solid. I ended up getting the Ridgid oscillating belt/spindle sander for Christmas last year so I don't have much need for the oscillating mode anymore, but it's great to have.

That model just got the top honors from Woodworker's Journal in their comparison of bench top drill presses, BTW.
