Built a stand to hold the guitar while I sprayed the finish. It's made where you can rotate the body as needed. It clamps to a benchtop but is heavy enough to hold a guitar without being clamped in place.

For rotation, it so happened I had a 4 1/4" hole saw on-hand from another project so I used it to cut the holes. I reused the center of this cutout as the disk to rotate in the hole. The kerf of the hole saw was roughly 0.050". I had some self sticking, 1/16" thick UHMW strips that are 3/4" wide so I used that to fill the void left by the kerf and allow the body to rotate easily. Not a perfect fit but it works fine.
