Hey guys,

I'm off drilling again for the Winter.

I'll be heading to Fort MacMurray for a 3 month contract starting Jan 2nd.
As I handle 99% of the retail orders/email things may be a little slower than usual until the end of March/beginning of April. I'm hoping to be back the end of March but after 3 months of slave labour, in one of the coldest places on the planet, I won't be coming back to work for a week or two. I'll be taking a birthday vacation somewhere warm.

Anyone who is still interested in the discounted 5 packs of 4A WRC tops (I emailed everyone I've got addresses for, if you didn't get it email me asap and I'll fill you in) has until the 30th to get their orders and payment in if they want them to ship.

Otherwise I hope the first quarter of 2011 treats all of you well and I'll see you in the Spring.

Thanks!

Anyone interested on getting on my mailing list can also email me at jason (at) cv tone wood (dot) com

Oh if you've got any questions/concerns still feel free to email me. I've been told I'll have access to wireless highspeed up there so I'll still be online to answer questions. I just wont have access to the shop/warehouse for 24 days at a time.

Drilling? Do you work on a drill rig?

I'll be working as a motorhand on a little coring rig in the oil sands this year.
Last year I was a roughneck on a big triple in Northern BC doing some deep wells.

Logging/cedar salvage can be seasonal so it fills the gap when CVT can't bring in new product and slows down. We get snowed out on the coast just as the Winter season starts and if it looks like a long fire season I can head in for a couple months in the Summer.

I work as a geologist/drill foreman. I am out at the drill rigs quite a bit. Be careful out there!
