What a beautiful little guitar Andy. Great to see you building again! Can't wait to see what is next. By the way, do you still have the 12 string guitar you built?

A very handsome guitar. Tastefully done. I like it.

andy, it's gorgeous, and thank goodness you're back at it. i love looking at your guitars.
after my own 2 year break, i'll be back at it pretty soon too. we've also moved, done a massive renovation (basically built a house) and now need to get the shop in order.

What everyone else said, good to see you back at it! That's a little beauty. I like zebrawood and that is a great set. I have a set of plans coming for a L-00 and am looking forward to doing one.

A question about the reso in your avatar. If I remember right you did a standard bolt on neck. As in, didn't go through to the tail. I'm just wondering how it's holding up? Did you find it worked OK?I've got a great set of Koa and figured Redwood set aside for one and I'd like to do it something like the way you did.

Cheers,
Danny

Very nice guitar Andy.

I too love the Zebrawood.

I have a similar set. How would you describe the sound? How was it to work? How was it bending?

yes the reso has a bolt on neck like the rest of my guitars It was a bit harder to attach since there is no sound hole. The reso hole is bigger but further down and the soundwell to hold the cone gets in the way. I struggled but I got it bolted on. It is holding up just fine. It too is based on my L-OO shape

Neil
It sounds great. It has the full range and balance typical of my guitars since training with Ervin S. As far as bending goes, no problem. But remember I do a double side technique which makes it much easier to bend. An inner layer of EIR around 0.04 and the zebrawood at 0.05
