Can I get some info on this product from someone who has used it.
considering that I will have a seal coat of French Polish. How many coats are necessary to finish guitar?...How much time between coats?...How long do you have to wait before buffing finish? Is this a good hard finish compared to a French polish?...Would you recommend this as a good product for guitars....Thanks for reading this and I look forward to getting some info before I give it a try...Thanks Larry

I tried a pre-cat lacquer (Sherwin Williams) for a while, but found the max film thickness (4 mil when dry) to be a problem. That's a pretty small rub through window to work within if you're going to buff out to gloss. If you exceed the max film it'll check on you. Also had problems with burn in when touch up spraying.
The stuff is tough as nails, but it's designed to be shot and left alone, so it would be great for satin finish guitars in a very controlled spraying environment, such as a factory, but not the most user friendly choice for the small shop.

IME it's too hard, and brittle for use on guitars. It would probably check, and also be bad for tone.
