Yes.

Finally me back in the shop this week...puttered around getting it workable and doing the final prep work for plates on the "Holy Bass" and the Turtle Back Padmazookie.

Was back in Feb '08 that a group of me lutherin buddies got together on one the auctions and conspired to gift duh Padma with a Shift load of Orphan tops for me birthday, you know duh Padmapa Orphanage for Wayward, Tops and Backs and Sides. (donations always accepted)

Well today me ventured in to the orphanage and selected some lutz slices.

Although many were classed as "orphans" in reality about half of them tops were book face...with defects that a guitar builder woulden't touch but would have no impact on my teardrop designs...so heres the pic.

On the left is the "Holy Bass" build which is part of that Backyard Build thing that Grant started a few years back. Pulled a top and a back and was blown away at the top. Is once in a lifetime score cuz its got an X pattern run out right on the sweet spot of the top. 99.9% would throw this top out...not knowing what they had or even how to handle a top like this.

In the middle is the back for the Holy Bass. Yes daz right a lutz top and a lutz back makes for a nice Doug Fir sandmich.

On the other left is the Turtle Back Padmazooki and its lutz top...other than the strings, think me gonna keep this build all wood...pegs...no hardware.

On the back counter is the Easter Lilly Prototype build...still carving the top plate on that one.

Oh and yes me working on purfling the NO NOthing build...is going slow...the Turtle had other plans for his shell.

here be the rough layout.

The No NOthing Build, the Turtle Back Padmazooki and the Easter Lilly Builds may be found else were on this her forum, use the search engine and me will continue to post to each tread untill they are all finished.

There are four other builds nearing completion, but gee dudes...its getting too hard to be documenting them all and getting them posted on all these forums so I will only post finish pics of them when its going down.

After these build are all finished, me only gonna post finished pics of the builds unless its a really odd ball thing.
