It went very quickly and looked great, which left me thinking that I'm finally getting my chops down

Pete's Law states that whenever delusions of adequacy such as this are experienced, a serious blunder is imminent. I don't know how many times I've had careless thoughts similar to Pat's only to totally botch something soon afterwards. Did I tell you about the time.......

Ha Ha, I'd almost forgotten that. Dan was kind enough to walk me through my first guitar at his shop. I think he stepped out for coffee during the hole drilling on classical bridge portion of class. I did the exact same thing.

Glad you worked it out Alain.

Thanks Danny, but you have the best excuse: it was your first. This guitar is my 46th!

Although I do have a pretty good excuse: when I made this mistake, my mind was pretty much filled with the fact that I just learned that I was going to be a father for the second time!
