I was thinking about the Rockler spray system but couldn't find much info on it. I know it's rated very well but I was worried about the max air flow pressure. It says it is 4 psi. I don't know much about these (never sprayed before)...is that low or normal? I'm def. going to be spraying lacquer (most likely water based).

I have used this for spraying water based finish and shellac. It is my first sprayer so I have nothing to compare it to but, I was impressed and it seemed to spray well for me. It is also easy to set up and use.

In case you didn't know, the exact spray system is sold at Harbor Freight. It's on sale atm for $75. You may be able to use a 20% off coupon on it as well.

Hope this helps someone!

I have used the Rockler sprayer for a couple of years (shellac and lacquer). Works great! Make sure you clean the filter between guitars or it will overheat and shut down. Also the extra spray jar is a useful thing to purchase with it.
