I'm thinking about building a 3-piece back OM. I don't have an example to look out to see how you do the center strip (not sure what you call it...). I guess you need a strip for each seam... right?

Does anyone have a photo that shows this? Any comments or suggestions...? Any down-side to a 3-piece back?
Steve

I plan to do a few three piece backs - as my bandsaw can only resaw 6" max. I like 3 piece backs - adds a little more interest than the standard 2. I simply put a center strip on each seam.
