A beauty Fred. I think you need to do one and extend the abalone to the fretboard binding at some time. I'm not huge into bling, but think it would look good on this style.

If you mean around the fingerboard on the top I will refrain from doing that unless someone really wanted it, it just looks wrong to me, too much bling for my eye. Even the pearl around the top is a little much for me, but I do it because it appeals to others. I love the pearl rosette though and use it a lot.
