That's a beautiful guitar Steve. I have a ziricote set that has been sitting around. I think I know what to do with it now.

Hey Steve,
That's a pretty great looking guitar As all of yours always are !
I like the Butt wedge-matches the sapwood back very nicely.
Cool obscure references too - Especially the "toasted wheat underpinnings"
How about -"ice cold mountain stream flowing mids" ?

The usual Kinnaird quality in both workmanship and aesthetics, with an 'interesting' soundboard. I've only ever used ordinary LS redwood, and will be interested to hear you're impressions of the sinker when you get it strung up.

Colin, thank you for those kind words.
I think only you would call "LS" redwood "ordinary"!
I will definitely report back on the sound. The owner wants light gauge strings, yet with an African blackwood bridge.
I'm anticipating nice sustain, & good bass. I'm a bit concerned that the attack might not be as quick as he could want, with the extra mass @ the bridge, and the light strings. But we'll see...and I'll say.

Steve I always use Custom Light strings, and with bridges in the mid to upper 20s gms I've never had any trouble with attack, so it should be fine. Mind you it's all down to the quality of the builder! ;)

Man that's pretty!

When I win Lotto I'm gonna get me a couple of those Kinnaird guitars.
