After seeing Brock's Brazilian auction I felt like digging out a set and planning a show guitar.
What do you think?

Hey the concrete in that picture looks a little green Think we could get a better picture? beehive

Beautiful set, don't see very many with that kind of figure. That will make a show stopper.

It looks like a very well joined 4 pc. back, is it? Either way, it is pretty rare to see. Are you planning on doing anything else special on the guitar you use it for?

I think it's a 2 piece unless he followed the line of the grain. But the chalk lines across the bookmatch would be across the whole thing if it was a 4 piece don't you think?

Filipos(sp?) awesome braz. rosewood guitar pic in the latest auction is similar. Awesome and gorgeous! Peter, in your hands that is going to be one absolutely amazing creation!

Looks four piece. The right joint is evident by grain if you look at the top. You won't see it when that puppy's put together...

Filippo

Indeed a 4 piece back. Took me over an hour to align the grain to get it the way it is now.
It's definitely a show piece. I have a few more sets, some 2 piece and some 4.

Not sure what to build but probably a Zion with a LS top. With the works....of course!

Think this thread should evolve into a 'show us your best BRW' so we can all get jealous - I remember seeing the piece that Fillipo posted, when doing a google image search for BRW - stunning piece... Will ahve to take som pics of the 3 sets I have, but I get teh impression I am going to be very jealous! :D
