I'm posting this here and in the mandolin section of the forum, hoping to get a quick reply. What I'm looking for is an undersized black walnut guitar set or something that would be suitible for a mandolin. The dinensions I'm looking for are

Backs, 13"x6"
Sides, 20"x2"

If anyone has a set like this or knows someone who would supply a set like this please let me know.

You could ask there on the forum:
http://www.mandolincafe.com/
Otherwise you can call any of the suppliers listed here and I am sure they will hook you up. Your local lumberyard may have some suitable boards as well.

Goby Walnut looks like an awesome place. They have walnut electric guitar blanks? Geesh I'll be buying one of those lol. Looks like they've got an awesome selection. I've got a few more places on call so we'll see what happens. Thanks everybody. Oh and by the way I frequent the Mandolin Cafe so I've already got a message there.

PS I would bet that almost any of our sponsors that sells walnut guitar sets would have some rejects that they would sell cheap. These rejects might be just perfect when cut down to mandolin size.
