Parlor soundboard bracing! I'll be bracing an adirondack soundboard for a parlor guitar soon and I just want to see others' work before I start.

Oh, and one more question. I'll be using a gobar/radius dish setup for the first time. Am I correct in assuming that the bridge plate should be glued on a flat surface instead of the radius dish?

Thanks all!

If you are using a dish, most folks radius the bridge to match the dish.

This is a really small Parlor. The lower bout is 10 7/8" (If you notice the saddle compensated....wrong in the finished picture it's left handed)

I sand my bridge plates in the radius dish before I glue them in place.

Here's one of mine. Size 2. I've been splaying the X a little more and using a slightly longer bridge to overlap the corners. Oldest one is three years and no sign of structural problems so far. These days I'd have a shorter taper on the ends of the upper top brace.
